Cross Hill Lodge & Domes is located around an hour from two world-class ski fields.
Cardrona and Treble Cone are two distinctly different mountains, both with their own unique offering. Now you can ski and snowboard at both iconic Southern Lakes ski areas on a dual-mountain pass.
Founded in 1980, Cardrona welcomes skiers and snowboarders of all ages and ability levels – from first-timers and families, to Olympic and X Games athletes. Cardrona is renowned for wide, open slopes that are home to some of New Zealand’s best learner facilities, and the Southern Hemisphere’s most extensive terrain parks and halfpipes. Cardrona’s Terrain Parks are the home of the NZ Park and Pipe Team.
Treble Cone is the home of skiing in Wanaka, founded back in 1968 by local ski enthusiasts. It is currently the largest ski area in the South Island.
Famed for its challenging steeps, natural halfpipes, and legendary off-piste terrain, Treble Cone sits firmly on the bucket lists of most intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders and has one of the world’s best skiing backdrops, with breath-taking views of Lake Wanaka and the Matukituki Basin.
